The module sits in-line on the wiring behind the instrument cluster. Factory-style connectors on both ends mean nothing is cut and nothing is coded. Pull it out and the car is exactly as it was.
- Remove the cluster trim
A trim tool or a cloth-wrapped screwdriver gets the surround off. Most vehicles use plastic clips, no screws.
- Unplug the cluster connector
Your fitting guide shows which connector carries the odometer signal, by colour and position.
- Plug the module in-line
Factory connector into the module, module into the cluster. It only fits one way.
- Tuck it away and refit the trim
Secure the module with the supplied pad, press the trim back on, turn the ignition. Done.
- Choose a mode
Switch between modes with a button sequence on your steering wheel or stalk. The setting is remembered between ignition cycles.
Straight answers
The questions we get asked before an order, answered the way we’d answer on the phone.
Will it throw a warning light or a fault code?
No. The module feeds the cluster valid data at the right voltage and timing, so the ECU, ABS and cluster all see what they expect. Nothing is written to the car’s memory.
Does the speedometer still work?
Yes, in every mode. Only the distance signal reaching the odometer is paused or reduced.
How do I know which version fits my car?
Choose the generation and any cluster or connector option on the product page. If you’re not sure, send us your VIN or a photo of the instrument cluster and we’ll confirm before you pay.
Can I take it out again?
Any time. Unplug the module, reconnect the factory connector and the car is back to standard. The odometer does not catch up.
Where does it ship from, and how fast?
US orders ship from our stock in Nevada, so there are no import charges. Most orders are dispatched within one working day with tracked delivery.
What is it for?
Dyno sessions, remapping and testing, track and off-road use, and vehicle development. It must not be used to misrepresent the mileage of a vehicle that’s being sold.
Not sure which unit you need?
Send us the make, model, year and a photo of the cluster. We’ll reply with the exact part.
