About the Chevrolet Equinox Mileage Blocker

The Chevrolet Equinox Mileage Blocker is a plug-in CAN-bus module made specifically for the Chevrolet Equinox (2024-2026). It fits in-line on the wiring behind the instrument cluster using connectors that match the factory loom, so there is no cutting, splicing, soldering or software coding. With the module active, the distance signal reaching the cluster is paused or reduced according to the mode you select; the speedometer and everything else on the dash keep working as normal.

Because it works at the wiring level rather than through the OBD port, it does not write anything to the car’s memory, does not trigger warning lights, and can be unplugged at any time to return the vehicle to standard. It is intended for dyno sessions, remapping and testing, track and off-road use, and vehicle development.

Options

• OBD2 / DTC eraser (+$375) – optional companion unit that automatically clears stored fault codes.

Operating modes

1. Mode 1 – Odometer paused – no distance is recorded while the module is active. Speedometer reads normally.
2. Mode 2 – Pass-through – the car records mileage and shows speed exactly as standard.

How to change mode: Flash the high beams 4 times in quick succession.
